What will the weather be like?
November is a beautiful time of year in Wilmington! Typically the temperature hangs out anywhere between the low 70s/high 60s throughout the day, and might drop into 50's in the evenings. It's usually very mild with clear, breezy skies but to be safe we recommend checking the weather prior to planning travel, outfits, and outings.
Where should I stay?
Between the beach or the city, there are lots of nice places to stay here! However, we recommend finding accommodations in the Historic District of Downtown Wilmington. Not only is this where our wedding will take place, but it's also a pretty little area with lots to see and do! For your convenience, we have reserved a block of rooms with reduced rates at the Hotel Ballast; for more information please check out the Travel link on our website.
How should I get there?
If you are in town with a vehicle please feel free to drive to the venue if you can! Street parking is free on Sundays, so parking nearby the venue should be readily available and easy to find. For out of town guest who'd like to drive, we recommend using Uber as it's our most popular rideshare app in this area. Please account for potentially longer wait times when requesting your ride. If you are staying somewhere downtown, it's likely that the venue is within a reasonable walking distance as well!
Can I bring my kids?
Yes absolutely! This is a family friendly event. For those of you with kids, we've accounted for your family's total in the headcount already. Please confirm or update us as to who all will be joining when you RSVP.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the venue 10-20 min before 3:30pm in order to be seated prior to the ceremony start.
Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony will be hosted indoors at the historic Bakery 105. It is located at 105 Orange St, Wilmington, NC 28401.
Will there be a transfer to the reception?
No need to transfer to the reception, the entire evening will take place in the same space! After the ceremony, we will gather for cocktail hour in the outdoor courtyard while the interior space gets prepared for the reception. Once ready, we can return indoors for dinner, festivities, and dancing.
When will we eat?
Dinner will be served around 5/5:30 buffet style. There will be a selection of beef, chicken, and fish along with side dishes of vegetables, potatoes, and salad.
What if I have a dietary requirement?
Please feel free to include any and all information about dietary requirements in your RSVP and we will be happy to accommodate! We can provide vegan/vegetarian options as needed, and currently all of our dinner items (aside from the fish) as well as a few select desserts will be gluten free.
Will you be serving alcohol?
No, this will be a dry wedding; however, we will be providing an assortment of mocktails and other beverages throughout the evening. If you'd like to drink after the wedding, you are in the best spot for it! Downtown Wilmington offers a large variety of great bars that remain open late on Sundays, so feel free to adventure around.
What time should I go home?
Unless you are hitting the town, feel free to return home once our reception ends at 8 pm.
Can I bring a plus one?
Yes! We have accounted for the inclusion of plus ones, but we will need to be notified beforehand. Please confirm your guest's name and other relevant information when you RSVP.
How do I RSVP?
You can RSVP for all wedding related events through the RSVP link on our website. You can find it listed in the site menu or by following the link danamoiseswedding.com.
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP no later than October 30th.
What should I wear?
Please wear semi-formal attire that makes you feel great! It might get a little chilly as the sun goes down that time of year, so please feel free to bring an extra layer as needed.
Can I take photos?
We kindly ask that no photos be taken and phones not be used during the ceremony. Our photographer will capture those special moments and will also take wonderful photos of the bridal party afterward. To ensure the best results, please avoid taking photos of the bridal party while the photographer is working, as this can disrupt the shoot. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like throughout the rest of the evening!
Where can I find the photos afterward?
We will be setting up a Google Drive after the wedding for all guests to browse through photos as well as upload any of their own personal favorites! You will receive the link via email once ready.
Do you have a gift registry?
Yes! We have a list of household items and a Home Renovation Fund for cash donations to support the many renovation projects for our two-unit property. Both homes require extensive renovations, so any contributions will be immensely helpful and deeply appreciated!
What are your registry details?
You can find our registry and Home Renovation Fund via the Registry link on our website. Thank you so much!
